Hey you—welcome!
Thank you for checking into my art world, welcome so glad you are here!!!
I don’t know how you found your way here, though I’m really glad you did.
This is my creative world—a splashy, colorful corner of the internet where paint gets messy, beauty gets discovered by accident, and stories show up in the most unexpected ways.
Whether we’ve crossed paths before or you’re brand new, welcome. Pull up a chair. Or scroll. I’m not picky.
For the past 27 years, I’ve been elbow-deep in paints, pouring my heart onto canvas and connecting with people like you—who just get that art isn’t just something to hang… it’s something to feel.
Honestly? Working with collectors and creating custom pieces together has been one of the most joyful parts of this wild ride.
So if you’re here for color, connection, or just a little creative spark—stick around. I’d love to keep in touch and share what’s new from the studio (and maybe even invite you into a creative conversation or two).

Join Notes from my Easel and Heart
If my work speaks to you, I’d love to invite you closer. My goal is connect monthly and share my inner world with you.
So, who am I? (Glad you asked!)
I’m Cheryl—a Canadian-born, beach-living, garden-loving, paint-slinging artist with a soft spot for color and kindness.
I’ve been making art professionally for 25+ years (wild, right?). But the best part? The conversations I’ve had with people like you.
I believe art has a way of showing up exactly when we need it. Sometimes as a gift. Sometimes as a reflection. Sometimes as a really bold splash of turquoise that says: “Hey. You’re alive.”
My paintings live all over the world now, and each one carries a little piece of my heart—and maybe a little piece of yours, too.
Take a look around!
Take a look around!
These are some of my favorite pieces—each one made with joy, mess, and a whole lotta conditioner. (Yes, really.)
All of these original paintings will be available at Boutique In The Creek in Roberts Creek for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl, beginning Friday, October 23 at 10:00 a.m.
Interested in a piece? Drop me a line at cw@cherylwheelerart.com and let me know which painting has caught your eye. I’d be happy to help with availability, details, and purchasing.
