My family went to visit friends in Vancouver during the month of March and we had the privilege of going to a close friend's home for her birthday party. Her husband arranged to have Sarah McLachan sing for us...only 30 of us...very small intimate party....she is an amazing artist....I dressed in a Fifties style outfit....what do you think?

One of the highlights of the month for me was to go to Deepak Chopra's Seduction of Spirit Meditation Retreat in Whistler BC. I went with five girlfriends and we had a great time. It was life changing. I now have a daily meditation practice. I am telling you this to help myself become even more accountable to do it daily. Davidji, one of the instructors says he uses the letters RPM to get him to remember to meditate...it means, Rise, Pee, Meditate!

Getting ready to organize George for grade 7. He is going into an online school called EBUS. It will allow him to travel to Australia for the month of October and then onto Puerto Vallarta. Were his teacher Ms. Kim will help him understand all the course material....and I will be back in my Mexican Art Studio creating from all the sites and sounds of our Australia trip!

We moved to Whistler and it is great to get settled into our home...I have been nesting like crazy....putting labels on everything and making sure everything has it's place....I feel like I can exhale now that this has been done and get back into my studio to create new art work....this summer I am going to focus on making a poppy series of every shape and size....I am going to paint at my home studio and see how that works out for me instead of renting a studio outside the home....I plan to paint a lot this summer!!! Looking forward to putting up a new set of paintings on the web site in the fall....and maybe invite some of you to a show in September!!!1

This year has been the year of changes for myself and my family...we have sold our primary home in West Vancouver and are moving to Whistler for the summer months...by the grace of god I was able to connect with an art studio/art gallery owner and secure a spot for myself to create for the summer in Whistler...in the Westin Hotel no less!
I have been painting a lot and it feels great....life is unfolding as it should and I am so pleased with our new adventures ahead....
